Search Recipes
Search by recipe, ingredient or food type. Broad searches such as fish, meat and chicken are recognised.
For example: fish, meat, chicken, salmon, eggs, pumpkin, soup or rice.
Enter a food or ingredient to find matching recipes.
Fridge and Pantry
Before you shop again, type in the ingredients you already have in your fridge, freezer or pantry. The app will suggest a simple seasonal recipe using what you already have. You do not need to use every ingredient. The recipe will focus on an easy, balanced meal with clear steps and minimal waste.
This is a flexible recipe finder, separate from the fixed weekly menus. It suggests a practical meal from common seasonal combinations and pantry basics, then gives fuller cooking steps you can follow at home.
About the Cookbook
Why I created this cookbook
I created this cookbook over the past two years while recovering from cancer surgery.
During that time, I found myself paying much closer attention to food — not just what tasted good, but what my body could actually process and tolerate. I started making notes, planning weekly menus, adjusting meals, and learning from experience which foods helped me feel stronger, more settled and more in control.
This book grew out of that process.
It is not a medical guide, and it is not about complicated cooking. It is about simple, seasonal meals, planned week by week, using familiar ingredients and clear methods. The recipes are designed for everyday home cooking for two people, with shopping lists, preparation steps and meals that can fit into real life.
The meals use simple ingredients and are designed to suit an active lifestyle, including regular training, kayaking and cycling. Protein is included throughout the week to support muscle recovery, while seasonal vegetables, fish, eggs, yoghurt and quality meats help provide steady nourishment.
Some meals may be followed by a simple dessert, such as plain white yoghurt, Greek yoghurt or fruit, if tolerated. These are optional suggestions, as individual needs and tolerances differ.
The menus are built around the seasons in Victoria, Australia, but the same idea can be used anywhere: cook with the season, keep meals simple, and listen to what your body needs.
The menus combine fresh seasonal produce with suitable stored produce—such as potatoes, onions, carrots, pumpkin and apples—and practical ingredients available throughout the year. This keeps the cooking seasonal while making the weekly menus realistic, affordable and easy to follow.
Good food, cooked simply, through every season.
Privacy Policy
The Seasonal Menu App is designed as a simple cookbook and meal-planning app for everyday home cooking.
A verified email unlocks a fixed two-day free sample. The complete cookbook is available through a one-time purchase.
Shopping ticks and recipe notes are saved locally on the device using browser storage.
Card and payment details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout page and are not stored by this app.
Recipes are general home-cooking information only and are not medical, dietary or allergy advice.
Local app data
The app saves your verified-email sample assignment securely on the service so the same email always restores the same two days. It may also save shopping-list ticks, recipe notes, sample or paid cookbook content, and device-specific access in this browser for offline use. Clearing browser data may remove the local copy, but a purchase can be restored by verifying the Stripe checkout email. A purchase is intended for personal device use. During launch and testing, restore access allows extra personal devices. If access is still blocked while replacing a device, email support@seasonalmenucookbook.com.
Public website version
When this app is hosted online, the website host may keep basic technical logs such as date, time, browser type and page requests. These logs are normally used for security, maintenance and performance. Shopping ticks and recipe notes remain in local browser storage and are not sent to the app host by this version.
